GPON OLT
Alpha Max Technologies’ 4-port Mini OLT (OfficeOLT3) is a powerful networking solution that supports 4 PON ports, with downstream wavelengths of 1490nm and upstream at 1310nm. The device enables seamless transmission over a physical distance of up to 20km, offering link budgets of 28dB (Class B+) or 32dB (Class C+), depending on the installed SFP, with a split ratio of 1:128.
For network connectivity, it supports 2x1GE SFP ports and 4x1GE RJ45 ports, and the PON interfaces use SC/PC connections. The device is equipped with LED indicators for power and alarm notifications.
The OLT features advanced Layer 2 switching capabilities, including VLAN support compliant with BBF TR.156, VLAN translation, and multiple VLAN models. It supports full non-blocking throughput, handling up to 32K MAC addresses and 4K VLANs, with forwarding support for IPv4 and IPv6 at Layer 2.
Quality of Service (QoS) is prioritized, with port-based and flow-based scheduling, supporting eight priority queues. The security measures include protection against rogue ONT devices, IP filtering, AES encryption for PON, and SSHv2 secure management. The OLT is managed locally or remotely using SNMP, with extensive monitoring options.
